Made after one of the preparatory drawings for the “Don Quijote” statuette, this representation of the iconic windmill fighter is more dramatic, suggesting a tumultuous internal struggle of the character. The drawing remains schematic, almost abstract, while the elegant figure is still recognizable within the lines.
