On a personal level, the idea behind this artwork was inspired by my own life journey.

I left my native Bulgaria at the age of 18, wondering if I’d ever have the chance to sleep in my childhood bedroom again.

I recall that august morning in 1998, sitting on my suitcase in Tel Aviv airport, in the early hours of the day, leaning on a box of empty canvases. Since then I have lived in and moved to a few different countries until settling in the UK. We live in a beautiful world, filled with colours and it deserves to be experienced and celebrated.
