Dance — New Exhibition at House of Estila, Clerkenwell
I am delighted to announce my new exhibition, Dance, opening this June at House of Estila in Clerkenwell.
The work at the centre of this show — The Dancers Series — has been a long time forming. These paintings began as studies of movement: the way a body carries emotion, the way gesture holds meaning before language can catch it. Working in expressive colour, texture and layered form, I wanted to capture not just the appearance of dance but its atmosphere — the charge between bodies, the ritual of it, the fleeting moment before stillness returns.
Alongside the Dancers Series, the exhibition includes selected paintings from my ongoing exploration of memory and atmosphere — works that ask how much feeling a surface can hold.
The Private View takes place on Tuesday 9 June, 6–9pm, with an opening speech by art critic Tabish Khan.
The exhibition runs 8–14 June at the art wall of House of Estila, 66a Turnmill St, EC1M 5RR (Farringdon).
Spaces for the private view are limited — I would love to see you there.
The evening is hosted by Creations Atelier, with the support of Norman Soul, Digibees Studio, Elysium Lifestyle Magazine and Natalia Giacomino Architects.
