Creations Atelier - A directory for artists and the businesses that support them
At the end of 2024, artist and architect Natalia Giacomino and I founded Creations Atelier - an innovative platform for artists and the businesses who support them.
Our mission at Creations Atelier is to bridge the gap between creativity, business and commerce, providing a comprehensive artist and business directory and professional development hub.
We want to help support the creation of meaningful long term connections, so we’ll offer face to face networking opportunities which empower artists to thrive and collaborate with industry professionals.
In tandem with our platform launch, we are proud to present "Metamorphosis" our inaugural group art exhibition, showcasing the transformative power of art. This first exhibition seals our commitment to celebrating the diverse artistic voices of our community of artists and to create an environment of growth and change for us all.
Metamorphosis will take place in the Art Space of St Marylbone Parish Church, 17 Marlybone Road, from 28 March to 22 April 2025.

Why Creations Atelier: Our New Artist Directory
I've often wondered why artists don’t go to networking events. It’s one of the first things I did after moving to London back in 2008, arguably out of necessity, because I didn’t know anyone and wanted to meet people. And so I did. I met many friends and quite a few of my collectors at those events.
In all the years in which I’ve been a member of various popular networking organisations, like Women in Business, Athena and BNI, I’ve met exactly 3 other artists through business networking. One of them was Natalia Giacomino, my partner at Creations Atelier, and one of my collectors as well.
True, there was this very beneficial period of Be Smart About Art, a networking organisation founded by Susan Mumford. Sadly, those events stopped a few years ago but what BSAA showed me is how powerful structured networking for artists can be.
Now imagine a networking organisation which then also brought the businesses who want to, or could work with artists in some capacity. And I don’t mean just the arts professionals, curators or galleries. But also Interior Designers, architects like Natalia and her architecture agency NGA & Partners, building companies, venues, my web design agency Digibees Studio, The Reclaimery, publishers and more. This is our vision for Creations Atelier.
Of course, we want at least 50% of our events to be physical, face to face events. Let’s face it, they’ll always work better. The connections you make being physically in the same space are almost incomparable and there is a certain tiredness associated with staring at our screen. So, later this spring, we'll be launching our monthly networking events in London, as well.
But we can’t neglect the way the world has changed in the last 5 years, whether we like it or not.
So therefore, with my knowledge of web design and SEO, I’ve developed an amazing business directory website for us. You can have a profile featuring all the bells and whistles of a professional directory website like reviews, map and a way for people to get in touch and message you. You can also share your blogs, products and events.
Also, our monthly professional development workshops take place on Zoom and therefore be accessible for our members who are not based in London. They are led by industry experts in the various fields which can help move your career forward.
So far we’ve run a PR for Artists workshop with Sally Brockway and a Tax efficiency for Sole Traders workshop with Phyu Twang.
In 2025 we’ve planned 4 Social media workshops. Over the coming months we’ll also cover online presence, social media, SEO, organising an exhibition, making prints and products of your art and sales.
